Buxus Sempervirens ‘Suffruticosa’ Dwarf Edging or Dutch Box is a small shrub with fine, elegant small leaves on strong stems. This plant is an excellent choice for formal low hedging and is also great for topiary.

Compact, evergreen shrub prized as a hedge or topiary subject. Rounded leaves are bright, shiny green. Slower growing than English Box.

Ideal for defining edges of paths, vegetable and herb gardens. Ideal in tubs or containers. Topiary and low formal hedges. For hedges plant 4 or 5 plants per metre.

Grows well in free-draining soil. Tolerant of strong wind, salt spray, frost and up to 90% shade. Clip in Summer and Winter.
